Hypocrisy, the ultimate turn off for me

I am turned off by arrogance, ignorance, inefficiency, greed, impoliteness and racism. But nothing pisses me more than hypocrisy. Ultimately we are all human beings and we all bleed the same color. On the physical level, we all need the same basic food, clothing and shelter. On the emotional level we all need to be loved and accepted regardless of race, creed, religion or economic status. Yet, we all play different roles in our society, (hopefully) determined by the contend of our character and our capability. So some of us are bound to be leaders while some take on the roles of followers. Thus, I think it is of utmost importance that the leaders (especially, the public figures) ought to have unquestionable integrity and honesty. But this is often lacking in the so called developing nations. In its place, hypocrisy is a common trait commonly seen in these leaders, who do not respect the public. Hypocrisy, when found out, not only robs the people’s confidence in the hypocrite but also kills the hopes and dreams of good citizens.
